My February Favourites 2016

My February Favourites 2016

Hiya! Sorry that this is late but as you may know, I have been on holiday. This is mu first ever favourites post so I hope you will enjoy. I will include makeup, skincare, hair, books, TV programmes/films and apps! Hope all of you are having a lovely Easter. Anyway, let's get started!

1. Topshop Glow Highlighter

This has to be my favorite highlighter ever! It is super creamy and is 4 grams. It gives your face a really natural highlight and isn't too sparkling. It makes your makeup lokk and little dewy. It was quite expensive though (£9!).

2. Nip + Fab Glycolic Instant Fix Mask

I got this for Christmas and I am addicted! I put it on about once a week and it makes my skin feel so soft and more even-toned. It smells amazing and when it's on my face, I can feel my face tingle (so it must be working!). I have less  spots and my pores are less visible. It works!

3. MAC eyeshadow (Amberlights)

This is my favorite eyeshadow ever! It gives my eyes a gorgeous metallic bronze. It is soooo pigmented and was £13!!! It is a really bold color but I love it. It lasts a really long time. I got it in November and is still practically full now!

4. Sleek Matte Me lip cream

This reminds me of the legendary Kylie Jenner lip kit. It is known as a dupe for Candy K. I've got the color 'petal' which is a lovely nudey pink. It is matte and stays on for hours!! It isn't too drying and I'm obsessed!

5. Clarins Light Lip Comfort Oil

This has so many great reviews so I had to check it out. It smells of vanilla and is a honey like texture (but isn't sticky!). It makes my lips feel soooo moisturized and is perfect for chapped and dry lips as it has many oils in it . It is 7 ml  but it lasts a long time

6. VO5 Heat protect serum

This product is a miracle! It makes my hair look and feel so glossy and not dry. It does a great job of protecting my hair when I straighten it. My hair feels so soft thanks to it!!

7. Anne Frank's Diary (book)

This book is truly inspirational. She is such an amazing writer and I find her so relatable. She writes about becoming a teenager, love, family and the Holocaust. It is so interesting and any girl would fall in love with it. I really recommend this book.

8. Gogglebox (TV program)

This is definitely my favorite TV show right now. It is hilarious to see how everyone reacts. I love all of the people on it and it always seems to put a smile on my face! I don't know whether this broadcasted any where other thank the UK.

9. Kendall and Kylie App

I've been addicted to this app recently. I love dressing my character up and going on dates! It is free and is available on the appstore and Google play. It is so much fun! I love being able to hang out with Kendall and kylie. Try it out!

I hope you enjoyed this month's favourites and I can't wait to write my next post!

Amsterdam Haul

Amsterdam Haul

Last week I went to Amsterdam and had a blast! I went to the Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh Museum, the Ice Bar, The fault in our stars bench and I went on a bike ride . I also went on a a tour bus, i went to the Hard Rock Cafe, The Rijks Museum and a tour boat! This was the second time I have been to Amsterdam. Anyway, I bought many nice things that I'm very grateful for and I can't wait to share them with you. Let's get started!

1. BBC The Diary of Anne Frank Movie

I bought this at the Anne Frank Museum and I can't wait to watch it. I watched it when i was in year 6 (11 years old) and I instantly was inspired. Did you know Felicity Jones played Margot (Anne's sister) in the film. The museum is amazing and is worth the very long queue!

2. Sunglasses

I have wanted a pair of sunglasses like these for a while now. I got them at a market and I couldn't resist not buying them. I thought they looked Dior inspired and I can't wait to wear them in the summer!

3. Mango Jumper

I got this oversized, orange jumper in the sale at Mango. It is my first purchase from there and their clothes are amazing. I love the worn edges and it looks really chic. It isn't as orange in real life. You will be seeing me wearing this a lot!

4. Kiko Blusher

I have never tried a Kiko product before and I really wanted a new blusher so I got this! I love the packaging and the design. The powder looks so cool as it is two different colors that merge. It has a mirror and is also sold in the UK. It is really pigmented and is the color 02.

5. Van Gogh Sunflower design pen and mints

I love Van Gogh's painting of the sunflowers so I bought this pen and mints. I bought some mints the last time I came to Amsterdam but I lost them at school so I bought them again. I really need new pens for school as I have none left so I bought this one. I love it because it looks like a tube of paint. I bought it at the Van Gogh Museum.

6. Gold plated Bracelet

On one of the tours I went to visit a diamond factory (Costers Diamond Factory) where they sold jewelry for thousands of euros. I eventually found a really cheap but lovely bracelet. It is very unique and will definitely wear it non-stop.

7. Post cards

I bought two post cards showing tje beautiful canals. I keep a collection of postcards at home from when I go on holiday. I live the scenery of Amsterdam and I thought both pictures captured the beauty.

8. Instyle Magazine (March 2016 US edition)

I was soooooo excited when I found this in the airport in London. Shailene woodley is my favorite actress and I really wanted to get this but it was only sold in the US! So when I found I practically screamed! Lol. It's actually really thick and it has an interview with Theo James as well!

That's it for this post and I hope you enjoyed it!

What's on my book shelf?

My book collection

I used to HATE books with a passion and just thought that they were uncool and boring but I was wrong. Since the start of 2015, I started to read and finally got hooked. There are only a few books that I LOVE but I can't wait to read more. I love that feeling when you manage to read a whole novel. Anyway, here is my bookshelf...

My bookshelf is from Ikea and I just put cute bits and bobs on it to add a personal touch. I'm only going to share a few sections of my book shelf as I have sooooo many books!

1. The Divergent Series

This is definitely my favorite book series. I loved all of the films and recently watched Allegiant! I've read all of them apart from Allegiant which I'm half way through. My favorite one has to be Divergent and as you can see, I have all of the movie tie-in editions (apart from four). I used to be obsessed and I dressed up as Tris for Halloween.

2. The Hunger Games Series

I haven't read the books but I can't wait to!! I've watched all of the films and love them. Jennifer Lawrence has to be one of my favorite actresses. She's so talented and hilarious!! I've heard many great reviews about them.

3. The Twilight Saga

Why does everyone think these books are boring? I love them and the movies. It has romance, vampires, werewolves, HOT guys...what's not to love?! I've read Twilight and the Eclipse novella, The short second life of Bree Tanner. Yet again, I fangirled so hard that I spent £20 on the identical bracelet that Bella wears in the film! Oops!

4. John Green's Books

John Green has to be my favorite author. I've only read The Fault in our Stars but I loved the film of Paper Towns. The fault in our stars is my favorite film of all time. Shailene woodley is my favorite actress and I've been to Amsterdam where they filmed!

5. Favorite individuals (Bridget Jones' diary, Calm and Rebels: city of Indra)

I love all of these books to bits!! I've read Bridget jones and I've watched the the films a million times. I really want to buy the sequel books and I can't wait to watch the new third film (Colin Firth is...Ahhh!!). I've also read Calm and it is interactive and we'll...calming!! It mainly teaches you about meditation. I really want to start reading Kendall and Kylie's book. It didn't sell very well but it sounds so cool. It's like Divergent or the Hunger Games.

6. Shakespeare's complete works

I'm in love with these!!. As an actress, they are so useful when doing drama lessons. I recently performed an extract from A Midsummer Night's dream (I played Helena) and I got 91% of my grade 5 LAMDA (distinction). My favorite story has to be Macbeth because it is so dark and eerie.

7. Harry Potter

Since I was eight years old, I have loved Harry Potter. I have only read the first book (years and years ago) but I love the films to the moon and back. They are such unique and crazy stories. I've been to the Studios in London, I have many replicas of props (wands, the time-turner) and I had a MASSIVE Harry Potter birthday party!!  #ravenclaw

Hope you all enjoyed!!

The Latest Spring Trends

The latest spring trends

I can't wait until the Easter holidays so that I can get out of wearing my disgusting uniform (the blazer is brown, blue and yellow!!). I also can't wait to eat lots of chocolate and go to Amsterdam!! Here are some top trends for this spring...

Dungarees

Kylie Jenner
I'm loving black dungarees at the moment. Kylie looks soooo good in this outfit!! They just look so casual but cool and it looks so 90s. They are so nice and comfy and would go with anything. Here are a pair from ASOS.

Turtle Neck Jumpers

Kendall Jenner
I'm in love with these jumpers. Kendall looks so chic in this outfit! They make me feel so warm and cosy. I loved them in the winter and I think that they'll still be popular in the spring. Here is a jumper from Boohoo (it's £20).

Espadrilles

Selena Gomez

I'm in love with these shoes. They are mostly worn in the summer but are still sensible to wear in the spring period. I love the Chanel espadrilles but they are ridiculously expensive. I want some!! Here are a pair from Hollister:

Hope you enjoyed this post. See you guys soon!!

Recent Purchases

Recent Purchases

Yesterday, I went to Selfridges in London and bought some things that I can't wait to share with you!! I'm sorry that I haven't uploaded in a while because I've been really busy. Let's get started!!

I recently tried a sample of the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and instantly fell in love! It leaves my skin looking natural and it stays in place for 15 hours! It has an SPF 10 and is 30ml. It's an medium coverage and is £30. Ii usually use the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foindation but i love this one better. It is quite expensive but it's worth it!

I also bought a MAC pro-longwear concealer. It lasts for ages and is of medium coverage. It is 9ml and it is amazing. I covered up my spots and freckles. I usually use Soap and Glory's Kick ass concealer but my opinion is that this one is better. It's a liquid concealer and is £17.50!!

That's all I got yesterday and I feel very lucky to have them. I usually don't get a lot of expensive makeup but I couldn't resist getting these as the quality is superb.

Hope you all enjoyed. Please go and check out my friends blogs:

London Fashion Weekend part 3/3

London Fashion Weekend 3/3

I also got another pair of designer sunglasses designed by Jean-Pierre Braganza and I love them!! They remind me of the Celine sunglasses. I love the side design however they make my nose look like the potato guy from Toy Story!

Anyway, back to reality. I love them to bits and I can't wait for the summer!! They are lovely quality and look super unique. Although the pink pair are my favorite as they really suit my face. I also love the packets/cases which they come in. They have solar protection and are sooo cute!!

I also got a lovely floral dress from Louche. It is very vintage and is all of my favourite colours combined (blue, orange and green). I can't wait to wear this in the summer!!

Here are some photos of my experience at London Fashion Weekend which was held at the beautiful Saatchi Gallery in London. There were so many gorgeous (expensive) things and I watched a catwalk show and got my hair done by Tony and Guy. I had a BLAST!

From the experience, I really developed my style. This year's predicted popular trends that were all over the cat walks across the world are...

Americana (suede, denim, reds, leather)
Romance (lace, velvet, satin)
Florals
Pop art (rainbow, neon, bright)

Stay tuned...hope you all enjoyed!
